A downloadable game

This is Titans with Sticks! Get ready to compete against 4 other players/bots in a lacrosse inspired video game where the whole level is constantly changing its layout.

Push your opponents to make them drop the ball. Grab a power up to get an advantage over your enemies. Pass the ball to your teammates when you've gotten cornered. Or get in front of your goal and become the goalie.

This game can be played on local networks, but if you don't have anyone to play with, don't worry because there is AI that will play with you.

And featuring some crazy power ups.

  • Magnet
    • Sucks the ball towards you
  • Super Jump
    • Jump over barriers and your opponents with your super hops
  • Shield
    • Keep your opponents away with a force field that pushes them aside

This project was made during my final months of college with three other programmers and two other artists. The engine was pretty much handled by me, but this game was a collaborative effort. This game was made in 2017, but itch.io wasn't a big thing back then. So we never had this game anywhere public. But that changes now! The public can finally play this game!

Install instructions

Given this was a custom engine and a student project, installation isn't the prettiest because it installs all the art assets as their individual files. Still though, it gets the job done.

In order to play, extract the zip you downloaded, and then run the exe inside. This exe will install the game. You'll need 1GB of space. When it's done, there should be a shortcut on your desktop that will let you play the game!

If for some reason you can't find the shortcut, you can go to the "Release" folder where you installed the game. Inside there will be a file called "Extinguish.exe". Click this to play the game!
